I have previous experience in Web Designing & Graphic Designing, developing digital services, maintenance and distribution of such digital systems while working at Do It For You internet Marketing company  (DIFY.Co) since 2012.  I have created many websites ,posters and flyers using WordPress and Adobe platforms for DIFY projects. I have also composed online course videos for publishing major events using Adobe After Effects and iMovie. I have also managed a few training lectures to help the instructor coach people about how to start their online business .

After graduated from university, I received a grant from the National Culture and Arts Foundation in Taiwan and became a researcher at “Aboriginal Art and Music Research Project”. I moved from my hometown of Nantou to Dulan, Taitung, where I researched Aboriginal culture and art for a  year, and completed the entire research. The research reports that were compiled are currently in the stages of being published into a book.

After completing the case of the National Culture and Arts Foundation, I moved to Taichung and entered Always Girl Boutique the original leather store of the franchise, work as a designer for design brands and store decorations. As part of the team, I worked with many different people in different departments, ranging from design to execution and completion of storefront displays. In this project, I learned how to communicate with them while also handling situations and problems individually and as a team.

After the  Always Girl Boutique  case was completed , I took on a case as a web designer for a HONG SHENG MOTOR mall l(https://www.piaa.com.tw/). Due to Taiwan’s lack of manpower and financial limitations in this industry, I was solely responsible for the establishment of the online shopping mall. The maintenance, shelving and shipping of products were daily responsibilities. Therefore , I learned all front-end and back-end work, as well as becoming familiar with all the skills needed to open a online shop.

After I got pregnant I started working from home and started my own design studio Umea Design. I approached the small visual design cases,  static web design, and created my own blog Umeadesign. This blog averaged approximately 9,000 views per day. The consistent views give a boost confidence to know that I have been doing things properly and an online career could be a reality.

After year and a half, I joined DIFY (Do It For You) Internet Marketing Company in Taipei, where I was responsible for installing online marketing systems. In the midst of working with engineers from India, Norway and the United States to build systems I not only learned how to communicate with those engineers but also mastered online marketing skills such as familiarizing with advertising, marketing strategy, affiliate marketing, and how to build a multi-level marketing system.

In 2013, I decided to take a new opportunity in the United States. I participated in the MOMA( The Museum Of Modern Art ) workshop in New York City and met artists from all over the world. I was fortunate to have had a chance to work as a web design intern at Radiant IT Consulting company and officially worked with various engineers, project managers and UI / UX designers in Washington DC and Manhattan, New York City. After I completed my internship, I moved to Los Angeles to search out more opportunities to improve and execute the knowledge of affiliate marketing. During that same year, I started my own company named Empire Fusion in Las Vegas, My company worked primarily on providing quality articles online and helping  small companies to improve Search Engine Keyword Optimization (SEO) as well as helping to promote startup companies.. Along with the joy of developing solutions to a real-world issues, this project has also given me the opportunity to learn and apply analysis tools like probability, statistics and optimization.

During my time working as an entrepreneur, I found that more and more Taiwanese brands wanted to promote their products into the United States. However, following the concept of overall visual design and online marketing background, I decided to return to Taiwan to set up a branch office to help Taiwanese brands internationalize. Therefore, in 2014 The No.77 Designlab was established in Taipei (77designlab.com) to assist hair salon companies in redesigning their brand and help them to bring their service from offline to online.  After that, I was very fortunate to help Monocle’s pop-up shop in Taiwan. In addition to designing web pages and promoting the  pop-up shop, it was a pleasure to work closely with founder Tyler Brûlé and his team. During the establishment of No. 77 Design lab, I designed many different visual branding logos, posters, websites, etc. across many different industries 

In the same year, I established the sideline of other brand names Liv Tea in my hometown of Nantou and managed a completely different field in one hand. This completely brought me out of the perspective of the digital designer to that of the operators of an offline shop. During this period, many difficulties dealing with the difference between online and offline sales were encountered. It was an ideal opportunity for learning how to sell the product to people on a personal level. During 2016, my original company Empire Fusion started Virtual Reality Reporter (VRR). After approximately six months the VRR website reached the top five in global views for VR websites. It is a project and team of which I am very proud. These experiences have helped me develop my leadership skills and learn to work under immensely stressful conditions with strict deadlines. They have also helped me hone my communication and organizational skills.

Since the latter part of 2016, I have traveled solo several times to Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and did a solo hike in the Finland Seitseminen National Park, I am deeply in love with Nordic countries’ nature and culture. After returning to Taiwan, I started to study Norwegian courses taught by Oslo University online and obtained a certificate of completion (INTRODUCTION TO NORWEGIAN  UNIVERSITY OF OSLO Digital Certificate).

I hope to get an opportunity to join the Media-Nord project and increase my knowledge. I ensure you that I will put forth every effort along with my skills to make efficient use of any and all opportunities provided.
